Michelle joined Apsleys on a Modern Apprenticeship after completing a GNVQ at East Devon College. She qualified as an Accounting Technician and then took further exams before qualifying in 2002 as one of the youngest people to become a Chartered Accountant. In 2004 she qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2012. Michelle has experience of a wide range of businesses but specialises in dealing with companies, charities and solicitors.
Joined the practice as a partner in 2005. Phil was educated at Huish Grammar School Taunton until 1974. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and has specialised in agricultural accountancy and taxation since 1990. Phil is also a member of the Institute Taxation Faculty. He is a well known sportsman playing cricket, hockey and bowls.
Joined a national firm in London after graduating from Swansea University with a degree in Computer Technology. Moved to the West Country in 1979 and became a partner in 1984. David is a vice-president of Wellington Rugby Club. He is also a director of Reminiscence Learning, a charity which aims to provide support for people with memory difficulties.
Renata joined Apsleys in 2008 as a qualified Accounting Technician. She took further exams and in 2012 qualified as a Chartered Accountant. During her time with Apsleys she has developed her knowledge across a wide variety of businesses and now specialises in personal tax. In her free time she has a passion for travelling and learning about different cultures. She speaks fluent Czech and has a knowledge of the Russian and German languages.
Janet joined the firm in 1985 and has developed a wealth of experience from the wide variety of businesses that she helps and advises. She is a keen member of Cullompton Rugby Club where she supports her husband and two sons who are active participants. In what is left of her spare time Janet enjoys tap dancing with the Jayne Tolliday School of Dancing in Cullompton.
